About New Hope Fellowship Church

New Hope Fellowship is a church with Lutheran roots and a heart pursuing the Spirit of God. We aim at embracing the Holy Spirit & how He wants to work in our midst, yet not losing the rich Lutheran heritage that has shaped our past.

New Hope Fellowship is a member of the American Association of Lutheran Churches (AALC). We are: Called by the Gospel and enlightened by the Holy Spirit through the means of Grace, Word and Sacrament to go into all the world making disciples of all nations in the name of Jesus.

Mission Statement:

The mission of New Hope Fellowship is to share the saving love of Jesus Christ with all people.

Everything we do in our life together is to encourage growth in faith and obedience to Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Our lives reflect God’s love as we support Christian missions, invite people to worship and grow in our faith through prayer, praise, and the hearing of God’s inspired Word through preaching, teaching and study.

We rely on the Holy Spirit and His gifts to empower and help us witness for Christ and meet people’s needs – all to the glory of God.

Pastor David Johnson:

Pastor Johnson has been a pastor for 34 years, with 6 years of experience as a missionary in Africa. He & his wife Miriam have 5 children & 5 grandchildren.
Pastor Johnson has a heart for reaching our community with the Good News of the love of Jesus Christ. From nursing home & high school to the corner of First & Main, he leads New Hope in doing our part to fulfilling the Great Commission to bring Jesus to a lost & dying world.
